Persistence |
"Nothing in the world
can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than
unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and the
determination alone are the omnipotent. The slogan "Press On" had solved and
will always will solve the problems of the human race." - Calvin Coolidge |
Brother Calvin Coolidge graduated from Amherst College in 1894. He is a member of the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta, and started the Fiji Sires and sons club, which recognizes Fiji fathers and their sons. Brother Coolidge also served as President of the United States of America from 1924 to 1929. |
